Please note: we are in the very early days of being a charitable organisation, and need help developing and running efficient plans and projects that will help us get to where we want to be – providing support to people living with Borderline Personality Disorder. Our ideal candidate would be excited at the idea of working with a new organisation. We are incredibly ambitious and want to provide help and support to anyone living with BPD, and their families. We are looking to recruit 14 area coordinators to cover the following regions in the UK:
- Scotland East
- Scotland West
- Northern Ireland
- South West
- South East
- East of England
- West Midlands
- East Midlands
- Yorkshire and the Humber
- North West
- North East
Initially the volunteer is tasked with researching and monitoring any BPD and mental health support services or organisations (charitable, NHS and private) within their region. Once CALIA is fully established, the area coordinator will be involved in the setup of BPD support services in the region.
- experience of planning and organisation;
- a good working knowledge of Borderline Personality Disorder;
- indepth knowledge of your region;
- good IT skills including Microsoft Office;
- excellent written communication;
- able to work on own initiative.
We estimate this role to be 1-2 hours per week, and flexible to your own schedule with regards days/hours worked.
